Angela Green

 

As a student at California State University, San Bernardino, Angela started her accounting career with SMA Consulting as an intern in 2004.  After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, she continued learning about the building industry and management accounting from some of the most well respected names in home building.  Angela learned about and practiced using the National Association of Home Builders industry benchmarks and standards as well as prepared client reporting for the Builder 20 club members.   Angela quickly climbed the ranks going from Accounting Intern, to Junior Accountant and finally Senior Financial Analyst.  

After leaving SMA Consulting, Angela became a Controller for a local contractor where she worked for three years.  While in this capacity, Angela was able to put herself in the same role that she previously mentored in, which made it possible for  her to understand the complexity and time constraints that come with running a busy company.     

Angela’s love of interacting with clients and educating business owners led her back to consulting as a hobby shortly after leaving SMA Consulting.  This hobby has evolved into a full time, full service management accounting company, Green Accounting Team.
